Robert King

Rob was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After attending Catholic grade schools in Columbia and Florence, he graduated from West Florence High School and matriculated to the University of Richmond. Rob obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Carolina in 1990, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Campbell University School of Law in 1993. While at USC, Rob served as a Page for the Hon. Hugh K. Leatherman of the South Carolina Senate, and while in law school, he served as a legal intern for the Hon. K. Edward Greene of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in both South Carolina and North Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Rob's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, governmental liability, insurance coverage matters and disputes, and alternative dispute resolution. He is a certified mediator.

Rob's wife, Leigh, is the firm's office manager. They have two daughters. In his free time, Rob enjoys surfing, snowboarding, running, Gamecock athletics, and attending as many concerts as his wife will allow.
